  1. Well I do hope we win but afterwards – maybe we can get rid of Lynch.

Let’s get a coach who has a national presence. Someone who has coached more than 50 muiles from Indy.

Pls put an end to this miserable run or at least give us hope it might change.

Would Glass allow this if it was B-ball?

  2. ill say it. love the win, but somehow it feels wrong if Glass uses it as an excuse to keep Lynch. congrats to the kids that worked hard, we all deserve a better coaching staff. get it done Glass.

  3. Unreal ….had to work so will catch it later on the BTN replay ….Any IU fan contingent there in Pukeville ? Well no matter what …happy for Lynch and the team to get this win …I still think he is gone

  4. Great win for the Hoosiers!!!!! Love to see Purdue lose!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing win!!!!!
Thank you players and Coach Lynch!Maybe Coach SHOULD keep his job!!!!!!!!!! Class act and great win!

  5. This is better than a bowl game BUT I’ve been to 5 Indiana bowl game and all but Shreveport in ’93 were fun …that place is like…well …going to west Lafayette ….Bowl games are a blast and that should ALWAYS be a top goal …EVERY year …we need a staff that can get it done

  6. I’m happy for the team, but not the future of IU football. You watch, Glass will come up with some excuse to keep Bill Lynch. Glass will say that we don’t have the money. Also, he will state that we won the bucket game and loves the direction of the program.

He will make Lynch do some “minor” staff changes, but nothing else will be done. It will be business as usual.

  8. Congrats to the entire IU team for this win and never quitting on the season. I don’t care who the coach is next year, I’ll still be in the stands rooting on the Hoosiers as I always do!

  9. So-called fans of IU football that would rather talk of Lynch instead of congratulating the team for a great victory can change their names to 4guards.

  10. Always nice to beat PU, congrats to Lynch and all the boys on the win…with that said I am a little unsure how I feel on a whole right now!

  11. Congrats to the team. An exciting win over a bitter rival. A single win over a mediocre opponent, rival or not, doesn’t change anything about the big picture.

  12. Jpat, if you had been with me and watched inflatables with IU s—s d—s on them all day and listened to ‘IU sucks’ chants all day you wouldn’t have any mixed emotions.

All that said, we need to win with some class. Our boys parading the bucket in front of their stands while their band is playing their post game program was not very classy. I was not impressed. That stuff just spirals and gets worse year to year no matter who wins. I think the presidents and ad’s need to address it before it gets any worse.

Congrats to the team for their win after a tough season. I am very happy for Ben and the others in their final season.

  13. Well, my feelings that IU needs to make a change at head coach haven’t changed, but if we ARE stuck with Bill Lynch for one more season, at least he’s not a jack bag like Bielema! Nice to see John Clay still in the game up by more than 40.

  14. Trust me, wynn, I very much want a coaching change now rather than 2011. I’m just trying to find a silver lining here (to go along with today’s win).

  15. As insanely happy as I am today …I have mixed emotions ….Lynch can recruit …but we need to go to some bowls and win some games like today ….I mean NW is giving up like 100 up in Madison today …maybe I overreacted 2 weeks ago ….I mean seriously I personally just want days like back in the Mallory years ….we could count on going to bowl games ….and that great year in 88′ ….sorry for living in the distant past …its all I have with Hoosiers football ….maybe today can help with the future …you know things CAN change on a dime sometimes

  16. Hoosiers finish at the bottom of the big10 AGAIN. that and Lynch’s pitiful body of work over 4 seasons should be the only things that Glass looks at in the coming days.
