Six questionable on injury report

Six Indiana football players were listed as questionable on Thursday’s injury report. That was an upgrade for two of them, but the other four were new additions.

Junior tight end Max Dedmond (knee) practiced Tuesday for the first time since the Illinois game, so questionable is an upgrade for him. Kicker Nick Freeland (hip) hasn’t played since the opener against Towson. However. for wide receiver Tandon Doss (concussion), safety Donnell Jones (ankle), left tackle Andrew McDonald (ankle) and linebacker Tyler Replogle (knee), that status is a downgrade from last week.

Indiana coach Bill Lynch said he’s hopeful all of them will play. He also anticipates the return of safety Chris Adkins, who hasn’t played in a game since the season opener.

“He seems to be moving pretty well,” Lynch said. “The biggest thing after doing that all week is does he get sore, and any of that. Dedmond practiced the whole practice. I didn’t expect him to be back full today. You know, we’re like everybody else this time of year. You get some and you get some back. We’re hoping all of them will be ready to go.”
