Taylor: “They’re still my school”

Though some internet reports have stated otherwise, four-star recruit Raymon Taylor said he’s still committed to Indiana.

“I’m still committed,” Taylor said. “They’re still my school at the moment. Ain’t nothing changed.”

The 5-foot-10, 167-pound “athlete” from Highland Park High School in Detroit said he spoke with new coach Kevin Wilson on Tuesday evening and said he came away with a good feeling.

“He seemed like a great guy,” Taylor said. “He seems like he knows football a lot. I think we will get a long. I can’t wait to get down there and get to know him a little better.”

Taylor had said many of the recruits were supposed to take an official visit this past weekend, but those were obviously rescheduled after former coach Bill Lynch was fired. Taylor said that Wilson would wait to host recruits on official visits until he had assembled an assistant coaching staff.

  1. Rarely do the words “aint nothin’ changed” sound so satisfying. Great sign and great indicator of CKW’s persuasive power.
