Report: Doss to enter NFL Draft

Tandon Doss told coach Kevin Wilson that he will enter the NFL Draft, according to the Indiana Daily Student’s Justin Albers.

The source said Doss is declaring now because he believes his stock is as high as it is going to get, especially since the Hoosiers will have a young starting quarterback next season.

Doss caught 63 passes for 706 yards and seven touchdowns in 2010.

Asked after the Purdue game if he would be back in 2011, Doss said this: “Right now I am happy with the win. I’ll look at that in a couple of weeks and see what my decision is.”

He has not spoken publicly since then.

  1. of course I am sad he will not play but wow…with Belcher, Hughs, and Wilson, I am not too concerned. You never know a kids situation but I would think he could have a huge year next year between Pease and Wilson and being the centerpiece but I wish him luck!

  2. Not that Tandon reads this blog (OK, so ya never know!), but I want to wish him good luck–it’s been a pleasure watching him do his thing on the field!
