D.J. White headed to Charlotte

D.J. White is changing NBA teams.

The third-year forward and former Hoosier has been traded to Charlotte, Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting. White has struggled during his NBA career, playing just 23 games this season for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

An injury in his first season set him behind, and with so much young talent it seemed to be difficult to earn more time. The Bobcats are bad, though — 25-32 coming into today — and may give White more of an opportunity.

A Kelvin Sampson All-Star was traded yesterday — Jordan Crawford is headed from Atlanta to Washington as part of a larger deal.
