Doss, Brewer, Turner to attend Combine

Former Indiana wide receivers Tandon Doss and Terrance Turner and James Brewer will attend the NFL Combine according to a release from IU sports info. The combine at LucasOil Stadium in Indianapolis runs from Feb. 23 to March 1.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana offensive tackle James Brewer and wide receivers Terrance Turner and Tandon Doss have accepted invitations to the NFL Scouting Combine. The Combine begins Feb. 23 and will run through March 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Brewer played in the 2011 Senior Bowl. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten pick by the league’s coaches and media in 2010. Brewer started nine games at right tackle and allowed just two sacks.

Turner played in the 2011 East-West Shrine Game. He closed out his career with 143 catches (sixth all-time at Indiana) for 1,436 yards and four touchdowns in 41 games (31 starts). Turner became the 17th Hoosier to ever reach 100 career receptions and 1,000 career yards in 2010.

Doss led the Big Ten and finished fifth nationally with 175.8 all-purpose yards per game this season. He closed out the year with 63 receptions, 706 receiving yards, seven touchdowns, 1,016 kick return yards, 163 rushing yards and 49 punt return yards.


  1. How is Chappell not invited? He’s a senior, was one of the Top QBs in the conference, and he’s got an NFL arm.

  2. Agreed! Let’s smuggle in to the combine Big Ben, but wait until AFTER they run the 40 yard sprint!
