IU sets Northwestern as homecoming game; Iowa, Wisconsin noon starts.

Indiana announced Wednesday morning that the Northwestern game on Oct. 29 will be the homecoming game and begin at noon. Games at Wisconsin on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22 at Iowa will be homecoming games for those schools and also begin at noon. The release follows.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana will welcome Northwestern for its 99th football Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 29, it was announced Wednesday morning. The game will kick off at noon ET. IU’s road contests at Wisconsin (Oct. 15) and Iowa (Oct. 22) will start at 11 a.m. CT/noon ET.

The Hoosiers and Wildcats will square off for the 16th time on Homecoming in Bloomington, with Indiana holding an 8-7 advantage. IU knocked off No. 22 (BCS) NU, 21-19, the last time the teams met on Homecoming in 2008, and has won six of its last seven overall Homecoming games.

Four of Indiana’s start times are now set. Head coach Kevin Wilson makes his home debut under the lights against Virginia at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Hoosiers open their campaign vs. Ball State at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 3.
