Indiana seniors Jerrud Sabourin and Wes Wilson both founds homes after the Major League Baseball draft.
Sabourin, the Hoosiers’ first baseman and all-time hit king, signed with the Cleveland Indians, according to a post on IU coach Tracy Smith’s Twitter account. Catcher Wes Wilson signed with the New York Yankees.
That puts four Hoosiers from this squad in Major League organizations. Outfielder/first baseman Alex Dickerson was taken in the third round by the Pittsburgh Pirates and left-handed pitcher Blake Monar was taken by the Washington Nationals in the 12th.
This is great to hear!
