Zak Irvin commits to Michigan

Former Indiana target and Hamilton Southeastern rising junior swingman Zak Irvin has committed to Michigan, according to several reports including this one from Ann

The Wolverines were favorites for most of the way, and Irvin, a long, athletic wing, seems to fit Michigan coach John Beilein’s system well. The Hoosiers were involved with Irvin for some time, but their interest dropped as they continued to pick up wing players in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 classes. Irvin had narrowed his choices to Michigan and Butler before choosing the Wolverines.

  1. should have stayed in the state, you will be forgotten once u r gone! hopefully u wtll make it. good luck

  2. Michigan landed a very good one here. Sucks not seeing him end up with Butler. I’ll be cheering him on in the Big 10. Michigan is going to make some noise over the next several years.

  3. I’m glad IU didn’t get this guy, don’t think he’s going to be a game changer. We can do better…
