2011 Herald-Times Indiana Football Preview

We’re going to try to bring back Hoosier Morning starting this week, and it should be easier because we should have Hugh’s replacement here shortly. I’ll pass the name along as soon as I get the go ahead from the higher ups.

But anyway, our IU football preview package ran today, so wanted to make sure we link to that here, even though it’s on the subscription site. We have a feature on Kevin Wilson, a preview column by Andy Graham, position previews (sorry, we didn’t get in special teams) and game-by-game outlooks. Links to the main site follow.

Wilson: Pulling No Punches

Graham: If attitude translates to wins, this could be a good year for IU

  1. Both Dustin’s and Andy’s pieces were really good. I enjoyed them, good work guys.

I also like how Andy used ‘alacrity’ in his final paragraph. That’s been a favorite word of the HT staff going all the way back to the Korman days (although Korman’s favorite word was ‘clearly’). Way to keep the tradition going.

  2. Hoosier Morning was an outstanding and very original idea. Glad you will revive it. It is really good to see a variety of takes on the one subject we are all passionate about.

  3. I would like to see what Indiana fans think of the listings below as part of a new conference, a lot of its members from the Big 12, some from Big 10 and a couple from SEC and elsewhere. The Hoosiers would be in a heck of a BB conference and would also have a much easier time getting to a title conference game. What do you think?
