Big 12 looking at Neinas, consultant who pushed Kevin Wilson to IU, as commissoner

After nearly dissolving this week and clinging on to life only because the Pac-12 decided not to expand, the Big 12 is considering a change of commissioner. Dennis Dodd of CBSSports.com writes that the conference is considering Chuck Neinas, a former Big 8 commissioner who has been serving as a consultant on coaching hires for several years. Among the connections he’s responsible for is the hiring of Kevin Wilson by Indiana.
