  1. I know Bobby Knight isn’t at IU anymore, but he recently got busted for cheating making recruiting calls to help Pat.

You’ve talked about former players/coaches before so I’m curious as to why it wasn’t mentioned here.

Too afraid of the Knight-worshippers crying too much and making threats?

  2. It has been reported RMK made a call to 2 of Pat’s recruits. Both from Indianapolis were committed to Lamar before the call to each was made. There has been no busting to this date and very doubtful dire circumstances result from it. These are minor infractions.

  3. Laffy,
It was kind of one of those deals where I was sort of late on it, got caught up chasing other stuff, and I felt like by the time I would’ve put it on here, everybody knew about it so it wasn’t like I was informing anyone of something they didn’t know. And it’s not like I did any original reporting on the story. I don’t know that I would’ve contributed much by putting it on here except for comment board Armageddon, which I’m pretty sure is exactly what would’ve happened.

  4. Clarion–

Had they signed? “Committed” means nothing.

    Dustin–

Thanks for the response. Still think it should have been mentioned.

  5. Tsao is now assembling his troops(a.k.a 7000 words)….a cold chill in the air and a gray sky looms the impending bloody battle. Honor has been served on flaming arrow fired to heart our crimson creed on this crisp Saint Crispin’s day.

    Knight is a cheater!

    Cheater, cheater,
    pumpkin seed eater,
    couldn’t have Connie Chung,
    now he constantly tweets her.

  6. Your bitch is that it involves RMK not about the status of the players. At the most a minor infraction will be the result even if they were not committed. Which they are. Your pants are down, pull them up. Knight needs no help from you in putting himself in precarious shades of light. He always gets an A for that effort.

  7. Jerry- Nice one! Where did that one come from? The “7000 word army of Tsao” metaphor was fantastic.

  8. So, Crean is LUCIFER for a minor infraction but, WHO GIVES A CRAP when Bobby does it.

    Got ya.

    Some things never change.

    You bootlickers crack me up.

  9. While I am a little surprised to be typing these words, Laffy is absolutely right. There was righteous indignation by the boatload when CTC committed a minor infraction (in fact the name of RMK was bandied about as a model of NCAA virtue, as I recall) and no chastisement whatsoever when RMK does a comparable minor infraction. Personally, I don’t think either one amounts to a hill of beans but the deafening silence does provide a pretty good object lesson on the risks of standing on a soapbox.

Maybe next someone stubs their toe it might be best to keep it in perspective. These kind of things always seem to have a way of coming back to bite you in the butt.

  10. These infractions are both miniscule, in other words if scored they are +0 to -1. Self reporting reveals the errors, the school writes a letter of reprimand, sanctions are instituted in house, the NCAA documents it by writing a letter to the school stipulating the self-reported violation, the NCAA is happy and moves on to matters that matter.

  11. Guys I was one that was disapointed that Crean let that happen. My point was made after a comment or two. I just let my desire to make my point clear, turn into a pissing match with HC. Although I respect Bob Knight for what he accomplshed, and I think we all were influenced by him in some way, I do not put him on a pedestal. I just wanted to say that because I did mention him on the Sheehey thread, and others. But he is gone. Crean is our coach now.

  12. Also a thing to mention is that an online business administration training course is designed for learners to be able to well proceed to bachelors degree programs. The 90 credit college degree meets the other bachelor education requirements so when you earn your own associate of arts in BA online, you may have access to up to date technologies in this field. Some reasons why students would like to get their associate degree in business is because they may be interested in the field and want to obtain the general schooling necessary before jumping to a bachelor diploma program. Thanks alot : ) for the tips you really provide inside your blog.
