  1. Well I was wrong…Last week I predicted an IU loss by 20….Illinois played around a little (Illinois is a good solid physical football team) with MACIU to an IU loss by 21….Even if the game was close Illinos still wins because they had the ability to step up their play as needed if they had or wanted too. Illinois beats Western Michigan by 3 but does come back on Northwestern to win after being down by 18, so Illinois is solid but not that good….Nothing different in the history of most IU football…They have made many football opponents look like Hiesman candidates.

  2. I just caught the third and fourth quarters. Too beautiful a day to spend it watching TV. I’ll watch the DVR later. Wonderful fall day riding motorcycles through the mountains. But I digress.
What was Zook thinking leaving his starters in while IU was playing its third stringers? If he loses his quarterback or a starting linebacker to an injury with two minutes left in the game he’d be feeling pretty stupid. They have a solid team full of upperclassmen and took advantage of a few breaks, as veteran teams should. Our freshmen and sophomores got a lot of good experience. When we’re fielding a team full of upperclassmen, like Illinois, these experiences will pay big dividends. Could have been worse, ask Texas. The horse whipping of the day, though, goes to Kaintuck. Gotta love that.

Tiny Bob/t, aren’t your Boils on TV?

Can’t wait to hear Joke Tru Doh! try to find a way to take credit for the win. It’ll be the first thing he’s won in a loooooong time. Actually, I’ve never heard his show. Those 50 watt AM stations don’t broadcast very far.

  3. Chet…I remember Cam Cameron said his under classman were always going to get better and better…If the ability level is lacking this can be fools gold. In Camerons case they climaxed at about a 5 win 6 loss record. That has always been IU’s problem. In the case of Texas national championships and a great football history…well they can have a lapse from time to time…There is no comparison to IU’s lack of tradition and lack of even goodness let alone greatness almost all the time at about 95% if not last near last in the big ten. That’s IU football history.

  4. Chet, where did you come up with these boilmakers? They can only come up with info we have lived through. They will be transitioning soon too as the new “stache” can only get it done against very weak opponents even with all that great PUke tradition motivating and uplifting him. BB will now return to normal status at PUke, B10 mediocrity.

  5. I’m really loving the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A handful of my blog audience have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?
