Trevon Blueitt, JaQuan Lyle likely to attend Hoosier Hysteria

Gary Harris will clearly be the guest of honor at next Saturday’s Hoosier Hysteria at Assembly Hall, but Indiana will have several other high priority recruits there as well.

Park Tudor sophomore forward Trevon Bluiett said Sunday at John Lucas’s Midwest Invitational camp in Louisville, Ky. that he would be attending the event. Evansville Bosse guard JaQuan Lyle, rated the No. 8 player in the nation in the Class of 2014 said that if he is at any first-practice event that weekend, it will be at Indiana.

“It’s a possibility right now,” Lyle said. “If I take a visit, it will be there. … I just want to go to Hoosier Hysteria because it was cool last time. I think it will be a great experience again.”

Blueitt sounded more certain. He said he will be at Hoosier Hysteria Saturday, then will visit Notre Dame and Xavier the following weekend.

Bluiett and Lyle have both had offers from the Hoosiers from some time. As they gain exposure, both are receiving more attention outside the state. Lyle said he got an offer from Michigan State last week. He said Memphis, Kansas, Marquette and Georgetown are now involved in his recruitment. Bluiett said he now has an offer from Virginia.

All five of Indiana’s verbal commitments for 2012 — Yogi Ferrell, Jeremy Hollowell, Hanner Perea, Peter Jurkin and Ron Patterson — are also reportedly attending according to 24/7 Sports and Inside Indiana. Derek Willis, a Class of 2013 forward from  Bullitt East High School Mt. Washington, Ky., R.J. Curington a Class of 2013 guard from Oak Hill Academy in Virginia, and Sam Singer, a 2013 point guard from Miami, Fla., are reportedly attend. From the Class of 2014 D’Angelo Russell, a  guard from Central High School in Louisville, Trey Gundy a small forward from Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Ky., Justin Johnson, a small forward from Sheldon Clark High School in Inez, Ky., Shane Hall, a power forward from Johnson Central High School in Prestonburg, Ky., Jackson Davis, a small forward from Lafayette High School in Lexington, Ky., and Bryant McIntosh, a guard from Greensburg High School, are also reportedly attending.

  5. Hello there! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Many thanks!
