Tragically, late last night, Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach Kurt Budke was killed along with an assistant and two others. The crash comes 10 months after the 10-year anniversary of a previous plane crash that killed 10 men associated with the program.

It’s not a very happy time in college sports, that’s for sure.

  1. My advice to Jim Boeheim is to retract his harsh words about the two alleged victims of Fine because they show a complete lack of understanding and insensitivity of victims of child abuse, and the victim had reported the abuse previously. Just because there is not a corrobative witness does not make it less shameful.

  2. I agree(gasp). If he wanted to show support of his assistant he could have said something to the tune of, “I’m confident the investigation will exonerate Coach Fine,” and let it go at that. Now, he’s ‘all in’. If Fine goes down he may as well.

  3. I have no idea how this turns out but I am sure the PSU problem will bring out copycats to holler wolf. Making it a he said, she said action to ruin someone. I consider them as sick as Sandusky. You are innocent till proven guilty. I do not blame Boeheim one bit for his loyalty.
