Zeller named B1G Freshman of the Week… Again

Indiana freshman forward Cody Zeller was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second straight week. It likely won’t be the last time.

Zeller averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in two games this week and shot 85.7 percent from the field. He’s shooting 82.6 percent from the field this season missing just one shot in each game.

  1. Isn’t it time to change the poll on this page to something else since the 2012 recruiting class is already signed?

  2. Cody Zeller is an exceptional player But I hope we dont forget to honor the team members who have been here Since the last coach left and had to live day to day the embrassement that he and staff left them in.

  3. Dustin, please just don’t make the poll question “What is Indiana’s biggest need in football?” Just saying . . .

  4. Can we please not use the thoroughly-stupid ‘B1G’ logo on this site?? It’s almost embarrassing that a conference with such academically prestigious membership came up with something so ridiculous. The division names I’m kind of getting used to, but the logo is just plain stupid.

  5. Actually the logo is very flexible, it will accommodate 12-14-16-18-20 … schools with no revision! Just B1G!

  6. BeatPurdue, Right on, it is a logo loudly declaring vision. Delaney says the B1G is quite content at 12. This logo reveals his obvious anticipation of action for expected opportunity as soon as it appears. Also the divisional names will became real brands in college FB as more teams are added.
