IU RecruitWatch: This weekend’s slate

Here’s a list of this weekend’s action, listed by recruit, with directions for those of you who want an in-person look:


Yogi Ferrell (Park Tudor): After a tough loss at the buzzer last week, the Panthers soldier on at Beech Grove this weekend on Friday. Directions to Beech Grove from Bloomington are here.

Ron Patterson (Broad Ripple): Patterson and Co. lost a matchup with Cathedral last weekend, and they take on Howe tonight at home, at 7:30 p.m. Directions to Broad Ripple are here.

Jeremy Hollowell (Lawrence Central): Hollowell is starting the season off hot and so is his 3-0 Bears team, one of the best-ranked teams in the state. Lawrence Central takes on Pike, at Pike tonight at 7:30. Directions to Pike are here.

Hanner Mosquera-Perea (LaPorte La Lumiere): Perea and La Lumiere lost a big one to Oak Hill Academy last weekend, but they’re back against St. John’s Military in Wisconsin this weekend. Directions are likely useless, sorry everyone.

Peter Jurkin (UFCA, N.C.): Coming off a loss Jurkin’s team will take on Hickory in North Carolina this weekend.


Collin Hartman (Cathedral): Hartman’s Cathedral squad has gotten off to a good start, and will look to continue that start against Trey Lyles’ Arsenal Tech team, as Lyles gets another shot at another member of the Movement. Directions to Tech are here.

Devin Davis (Warren Central): Davis’ team has bounced back since a loss to Hartman’s in the season opener, and they’ll look to continue their two-game win streak against Avon on the road tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. Directions to Avon are here.


James Blackmon Jr. (Bishop Luers): Luers is 1-0 and has two big matchups this weekend, one against Fort Wayne South and the other one at Anderson. It should be an interesting weekend for Blackmon and Co.
