Spring Game info

From IU sports information, here are the very basics of what you need to know about the spring game.


The 2012 Cream & Crimson Spring Game presented by Smithville will kick off at noon ET on Saturday, April 14, at Memorial Stadium. Admission is free and the gates will open at 9:30 a.m.

Fans are asked to enter the West side of Memorial Stadium and to sit in the West stands. Concessions will be open on the West side. All parking lots will be open and parking is free.

The Big Ten Network will stream the game LIVE on both BTN2Go and The Big Ten Digital Network. Jeremy Gray (play-by-play) and Buck Suhr (analyst) will call the action. The game will air on BTN at 9 p.m. on Monday, April 16.

Special Events: Pigskins & Pancakes will return for the second straight season. Fans can enjoy a FREE breakfast of pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee with the team. Breakfast will be served from 9:30-11 a.m. in Knot Hole Park.

From 10:15-11 a.m., former Hoosier players will hold a Kids Clinic on the field. Clinic stations will include tackling, kicking, passing, agility and catching drills.

  1. From what I understand (via Hutchens’ tweets), Roundtree is the real deal and Hutchens suggesting IU pretty loaded at RB. Likes the JC QB, Ewald pounding holes in the walls behind the goals…

    Sure we’ll get some pretty long and detailed scouting from Graham and Dupirak on def backs, off line, lbs, def ends, rec, def line, asst coaches. Dopierak for sure three paragraphs on each and Graham solid surgical analysis and xray.
