Sinclair named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention

Indiana women’s basketball senior forward Aulani Sinclair was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection by media voters on Monday.

Sinclair had the most productive regular season of her career, while leaving her mark in the IU record book. She leads the team in scoring with 15.9 points per game, and she broke the school record for most 3-point field goals made in a single season with 72.

The Eminence native became the 23rd player in program history to tally 1,000 career points and is currently 18th on Indiana’s all-time career scoring list with 1,138 points. She is third all-time in career 3-pointers made with 183 and is on pace to end her career as the all-time leader in 3-point field goal percentage.

Sinclair was the only member of the Hoosiers’ program to be honored. Penn State’s Maggie Lucas was both the Media and Coaches Player of the Year. See the rest of the honorees after the jump.
