Indiana one of 16 regional hosts for NCAA Tournament

The national seeds will not be released until tomorrow, but Indiana can go to sleep knowing it will host an NCAA Tournament regional for the first time in school history.

The NCAA announced Sunday night that the Hoosiers are one 16 teams that will serve as hosts for one of the four-team double-elimination tournaments this weekend. The other hosts are Louisiana State, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Oregon State, Oregon, Cal State Fullerton, UCLA, Louisville, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, North Carolina State, Mississippi State and Florida State.

The rest of the NCAA Tournament field, including seeds and pairings of regionals, will be announced tomorrow at noon on ESPNU.
