Indiana downs Evansville 77-46

Sophomore forward Jeremy Hollowell scored 18 points off the bench to lead Indiana to a 77-46 win over Evansville at Assembly Hall on Tuesday night.

Freshman forward Noah Vonleh posted his fifth double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds and sophomore point guard Yogi Ferrell scored 10 points. IU won the rebound battle 58-30 and held previously hot-shooting Evansville to 29.1 percent shooting.

  1. Wow, by the lack of comments posted tonight, it appears that a lot of IU fans have become ho-hum about wins like this one. I know we all expected IU to win, but I am surprised, given the domination I witnessed, at the apparent lack of enthusiasm.

  2. Nice post Higgi! we all know what you mean. Thanks to DVRs I just watched the game. I’m nearly certain something invaded uniform #33. Or maybe the greatest motivator of all time….the bench…had an effect. What a concept, benching guys who aren’t playing hard or smart. It’s been years since I’ve seen that on the floor.

    But kidding aside, congrats Jeremy for stepping up for your best game ever.
