Harris scores 24 in Michigan State win over Indiana

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State sophomore guard Gary Harris scored 24 points to lead the No. 3 Spartans to a 71-66 win over Indiana in front of 14,797 at the Breslin Center.

The Spartans improved to 18-1 overall, 7-0 in the Big Ten. Indiana fell to 12-7, 2-4.

Junior forward Branden Dawson added 13 points and nine rebounds for Michigan State. IU sophomore guard Yogi Ferrell led Indiana with 19 points. Freshman forward Noah Vonleh had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

  1. Proud of the way the Hoosiers took MSU all the way down to the wire after the disastrous loss to NU. Gary Harris doesn’t catch fire in the 2nd half…this was a W for IU. Now IU must come out and crush Illinois later this Sunday…
