Indiana rated No. 3 in Baseball America preseason poll

Indiana is rated No. 3 in the Baseball America preseason Top 25 after reaching the program’s first ever College World Series in 2013.

The Hoosiers lose just two starters (shortstop Michael Basil and center fielder Justin Cureton) as well as Big Ten Pitcher of the Year Aaron Slegers from a squad that won both the Big Ten regular season and tournament championships, also for the first time in school history. All-Big Ten picks Kyle Schwarber, Sam Travis, Scott Donley, Dustin DeMuth, Joey DeNato, Scott Effross and Ryan Halstead all return.

Baseball America also did a detailed breakdown of each team in the top five. You can find that here.

UPDATE: Also, Indiana was rated No. 5 in the Perfect Game scouting service preseason top 25.
