IU women’s game at Purdue rescheduled for Jan. 17

Indiana’s women’s basketball game at Purdue has been rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. The contest, originally scheduled for Monday, was postponed due to inclement weather.

It’s the only matchup of the season between the two rivals, who will play for the Barn Burner Trophy. It will be broadcast on Big Ten Digital Network.

The scheduling of the game can’t make IU too happy. It gives the Hoosiers only one day of preparation following their game at Wisconsin on Jan. 15. They’ll then turnaround and play Minnesota at home on Jan. 19. Of course, Purdue is facing the same scheduling issues, with games on the 15th and 19th.

The IU athletic department is still offering the fan bus trip to West Lafayette. According to a release, fans that have already reserved a spot on the bus will be contacted directly by the IU Ticket Office with further instructions.

  1. This kinda stinks. I was looking forward to watching this team live. Not on my craptop. Go Hoosiers.
