Bob Leonard named to Basketball Hall of Fame

Former Indiana star and Indiana Pacers coach and broadcaster Bob “Slick” Leonard was named to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday. He will be formally inducted in September.

Leonard was an All-American at Indiana in 1953 and 1954 and led the Hoosiers to a national title in 1953.  He averaged 15.5 points per game in his career at IU and finished with 1,098 points in his IU career.
