Indiana takes first game of series from Ohio State, 6-4

Indiana first baseman Sam Travis went 3-for-5 with a run scored and a pair of RBI and designated hitter Scott Donley also drove in a pair of runs to lead the Hoosiers to a 6-4 win over Ohio State on Friday in Columbus in the first game of a key Big Ten series

IU left-hander Joey DeNato got the win, striking out four batters and allowing just one run in seven innings. Catcher Kyle Schwarber and third baseman Dustin DeMuth both went 3-for-4 as the Hoosiers improved to 13-10, 3-1 in the Big Ten.
