IU women’s NIT game vs. Belmont set for 7 p.m. Thursday

Indiana will host Belmont in the first round of Women’s National Invitation Tournament Thursday at 7 p.m. The time was announced Tuesday morning.

Tickets, which are on sale now, will be $6 for adult general admission, $4 for IU student general admission and $4 for youth (18 and under). From a release:

Everyone attending a WNIT game will have to have a ticket to enter (this includes youth ages two and younger). Tickets can be purchased online at IUHoosiers.com, by phone by calling 1-866-IUSPORTS or directly from the IU Ticket Office located just inside the west lobby doors of Assembly Hall.

The IU Athletic Department will offer a number of promotions for fans in celebrating Indiana’s first WNIT berth in five years. “This one is on Fred” returns again as IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass will purchase Indiana student and faculty/staff tickets for the first 400 fans to enter Assembly Hall and show a valid ID for the first round.

Also, as you might expect, the Hoosiers are quite happy to continue their season:

  1. This video is so much better than the holiday video that the team made. Seeing coach Miller and the coaching staff inter act in this video was the coolest thing I have ever seen!! This simply speaks volumes to “the new culture” that coach Miller has constantly referred to on his arrival in Bloomington. This is a side of coach Miller that we haven’t seen. Watching this video almost brought tears to my eyes as I realized watching this that the family atmosphere that coach Miller has emphasized is alive and well. What a beautiful production this was. With all that is going on with the men’s program and all of the negative posts that have appeared, one thing is certain! AD Glass absolutely made the right decision hiring coach Miller and his staff! I am looking forward to seeing more entertaining videos from this team in the future years. Go Hoosiers!

  2. OMG! I just watched that above video and had all faith restored..

Is that really the head coach of the Women’s Hoosiers? Can we have him for the Men’s team as well? He is too much fun…And, wow!…That man can dance! The entire video was great.

My faith restored….Larryn Brooks was also a joy to watch in the video. Marvelous moves….tons of personality from all the girls.

Congrats to the Lady Hoosiers. They just instantly won me over. Not sure if that’s a good thing for them…
