Will Sheehey named Big Ten Player of the Week

Indiana senior forward Will Sheehey was named Big Ten Player of the Week after scoring 49 points in the last two games against Iowa and Ohio State. He also scored seven points in the loss to Wisconsin and shot over 60 percent from the field for the week.

Sheehey is the first Indiana player to win Big Ten Player of the Week honors this season. The last IU player to do it was Cody Zeller at the end of last season.

  1. Senior night & pretty sure no tickets are available. Are there any general-public functions to shake Will’s hand, say bye and thanks?

  2. I could barely watch Sheehey the last three seasons. I believe in having fun, but there’s a line where fun rolls over into a false confidence more evolved from cockiness. But to be fair, a lot of the unnecessary hype went to a lot of players heads last year.

Wow. Did he ever transform his attitude on the court this season. He leads by example and respects the game. By respecting the game, he’s earned my respect.

He still pumps the fist and explodes with excitement at the times he can’t hold it back…I love it. It all looks more natural and I believe he’s really embraced the upperclassman role.

The changed attitude fostered a changed game. He’s never looked better. Congrats on your recent honors, Will. Well deserved.

  3. Hey guys what is the best car from 2002-2007? I need a Honda, Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. Mine blew up and I’m in trouble. Thanks, Ron IU Freshman.
