Michigan beats Minnesota, advances to play Indiana

Michigan’s Travis Maezes hit a three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wolverines ahead 3-2 on Minnesota in Wednesday’s late game in the Big Ten Tournament. The Wolverines held on to win by that score and advance to play Indiana at 10 p.m. on Thursday at TD Ameritrade Park. The winner gets a bye through Friday’s games. Minnesota plays Iowa in an elimination game Thursday at 1 p.m.
