Indiana holding Haunted Hall of Hoops on Saturday at noon

Indiana will hold its annual Haunted Hall of Hoops on Saturday at Assembly Hall.

Doors open at noon so that fans can watch an open practice and scrimmage, with a costume parade to follow on the floor at approximately 1:45 p.m. Players and coaches will also be available for group pictures.

“We always enjoy this event with our fans,” Indiana coach Tom Crean said in a release. “It’s important to have our team prepare as many times as they can in front of people and there are no better fans to play in front of than the Hoosier Nation.”

  1. This event is not as good as it used to be. When it first started the kids could go trick or treating around the hall and the kids could get signatures from the players. It was guns my daughters could take individual pictures with each player. Now it’s giant group pictures, no candy, no signatures.

This brought to you by the same geniuses that decided to do signatures at Hysteria after the scrimmage so that people got up to get in line while the players played because they would only sign for an hour.

I think the Athletics office can do better.

  2. Will the IU@Michigan football game time of 3:30pm ET be delayed if the practice, scrimmage and Hall of Haunted Hoops goes into overtime? Will it be shown on the Assembly Hall scoreboard? Some planning.
