Hoosiers in MLS Cup

A number of former Indiana University soccer players will square off when the MLS Cup kicks off at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The championship match pits the New England Revolution against the host Los Angeles Galaxy at the StubHub Center.

The roster for the Revolution includes reserve goalkeeper Luis Soffner, defender Kevin Alston (11 games, nine starts) and midfielder Lee Nguyen, who finished third in MVP voting this past week after accumulating 18 goals and five assists this season.

Former Hoosier Tommy Meyer is a reserve defender for the Galaxy. Meyer has appeared in 12 games and started 10 this season.

The game will also represent the final career appearance for retiring Galaxy star Landon Donovan.
