ANDRE BROWN, 6-0, 191, CB, Decatur, Ga. (Columbia): Completed 70 percent of his passes for 1,758 yards and a 19 TDs and added nine rushing TDs as the Columbia QB … former Georgia Southern commit … offers from Kentucky, Syracuse, Minnesota, Wake Forest, Duke, N.C. State and Ivy League schools.

JAMEEL COOK, 6-1, 190, S, Missouri City, Tex. TYLER GREEN, 6-2, 189, DB, Hyattsville, Md. (DeMatha): Originally an Ohio State commit … rated No. 33 safety in the nation by Rivals but might well get a look at cornerback … offers from Ohio State, Maryland, Virginia, Syracuse, N.C. State … should add length and athleticism to Hoosier secondary.

DONAVAN HALE, 6-4, 205, WR, Largo, Fla. (Largo): Could well go from throwing to catching passes … threw for 1,488 yards and nine TDs and added eight rushing TDs as a senior … Tampa Tribune All-County … had offers from Wisconsin, Louisville, Minnesota and many others … might also play hoops for the Hoosiers.

MARQUI HAWKINS, 6-2, 200, WR, Columbus, Ga. (Carver) (Alabama-Birmingham): Signed by Florida and spent a year with the Gators, who wanted him to play safety, then transferred to UAB … has three years of eligibility remaining … recruited by Alabama and other powers out of high school.

JORDAN HOWARD, 6-1, 228, RB, Gardendale, Ala. (Gardendale) (Alabama-Birmingham): Ranked seventh nationally in rushing per game as a UAB sophomore, totaling 1,578 yards and 13 TDs … First Team All Conference-USA … has two years of eligibility … offers from Vanderbilt, Louisville and Iowa.

ISAAC JAMES, 5-11, 180, WR-DB, Carmel, Ind. (Carmel): Played both ways for Carmel teams that made the Class 6A state title game the past two seasons … the All-State wideout also played quarterback and running back, defense and special teams … had Missouri, Wisconsin and Northwestern offers.

BRANDON KNIGHT, 6-5, 265, OL, Noblesville, Ind. (Noblesville): Rated the state’s No. 7 player overall by Rivals … First Team All-State and IndyStar Super Team … family has Purdue ties but chose IU over the Boilermakers, Miami (Fla.), Virginia Tech, Maryland, Illinois, Minnesota, Cincinnati and N.C. NICK WESTBROOK, 6-2, 205, WR, Lake Mary, Fla. (Lake Mary): Class 8A First Team All-Florida … Orlando Sentinel All-Central Florida … had 80 catches for 1,857 yards and 18 TDs in 2014 … Kentucky, Virginia, Boston College, California and Georgia Tech were among his offers.

DEVONTE WILLIAMS, 5-9, 171, RB, Potomac, Md. (Bullis School): Switched Monday from Marshall to IU … First Team All-Maryland … rushed for 1,899 yards and totaled 23 TDs as a senior … had 354 receiving yards … Washington Post First Team All-Metro … also had an offer from Oklahoma State.

BRANDON WILSON, 6-3, 238, OLB, Winter Garden, Fla.     I saw on ESPN that Michael Hunter is going to transfer to OK State. What’s up with that??
