Maui Invitational field to be revealed Tuesday #iubb

Indiana’s inclusion in the 2015 Maui Invitational was revealed almost two years ago. By early next week, the Hoosiers will have a clear picture of which team they’ll face first.

The field for this year’s tournament will be announced at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, setting the stage for the event’s 32nd year. IU will be joined in the field by Kansas, St. John’s, UCLA, UNLV, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Chaminade. The tournament, which is held annually during Thanksgiving week, will run Nov. 23-25. Earlier this summer, it was announced that Austin Peay, Cal Poly, UMBC and Northern Colorado will play opening-round, on-campus games against the seven participating schools. Chaminade will host the event and will not be included in the opening round.

According to a report on Austin Peay’s official web site, IU will host the Governors at Assembly Hall on Monday, Nov. 16.
