  1. I hope Williams isn’t in the game near the end of the half as he was the one that stood and watched the WKU receiver run past him with 35 seconds to go. I would like to see the defense start to tighten up on how many players they play and who they play. I know with the quick pace of the offense they will need to play more players than most teams which gives them an advantage at the end of the half and game. However, three games is enough time to evaluate players and figure out what situations they are best in and what situations to keep them on the sidelines.

The constant depth chart shows the coaches have decided who and when they will play but I have some questions. One is having Simmons as a starting ILB; I have watched him as a freshman and sophomore thinking the team was short at that position and were letting him learn on the job. Now as a three year player he is still not making plays and misses too many tackles. I see a couple of other defenders in the same situation and it may be due to not having enough talent to replace them with quality players.

I hope they have things worked out enough to play a complete game on defense. It would be great to go into Wake Forest and come home with a complete win with the team playing a complete game from start to finish.
