Indiana moves up to No. 13 in AP poll #iubb

LAHAINA, Hawaii — Indiana will begin its stay at the Maui Invitational one spot higher than where it arrived.

The Hoosiers moved up to No. 13 in this week’s Associated Press poll, which was released Monday afternoon. IU is one of four Big Ten teams included this week. Preseason favorite Maryland inched one spot higher to No. 2, while Michigan State jumped 10 spots to No. 3. Purdue also went from No. 21 to No. 16 this week, while Kentucky is the new No. 1.

A couple of Indiana’s potential Maui Invitational opponents also saw movement this week. Kansas, which could match up with IU in Wednesday’s Maui championship, went from No. 4 to No. 5. Vanderbilt, a possible IU opponent on Tuesday evening, dropped two spots to No. 19.
