Uneven week leads to fall in polls #iubb

A loss at Wisconsin and a narrow win over Minnesota led Indiana to fall in both the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches poll.

The Hoosiers dropped three spots Monday to No. 22 in the AP poll, while falling four spots to No. 21 in the USA Today rankings. Though it slid in the poll, Indiana remains tied with Iowa for first place in the Big Ten standings.

The Hoosiers and No. 5 Hawkeyes are among a handful of conference teams included in this week’s AP top 25, joining No. 4 Maryland, No. 10 Michigan State and No. 18 Purdue.

IU has a pair of games scheduled this week, beginning with Tuesday’s 9 p.m. tip at Michigan. Indiana closes the week at Penn State on Saturday at 8 p.m.
