ESPN announces tip-off time for IU-UNC rematch #iubb

Indiana and North Carolina will play the marquee matchup of this season’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

ESPN announced tip-off times for the event on Monday, slotting the Hoosiers and Tar Heels in the 9 p.m. game on Wednesday, Nov. 30. It will be one of the three final games of the annual Challenge, and certainly the most noteworthy of that bunch.

IU and North Carolina will be playing for the fourth time in the history of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Tar Heels ended Indiana’s season in March, beating the Hoosiers, 101-86, in the Sweet 16 in Philadelphia.

In ESPN’s early top 25, UNC is ranked No. 6 and IU is ranked No. 8. The other big game on Nov. 30 features Purdue traveling to Louisville to take on the Cardinals, a team IU will face in Indianapolis in early December.

A 7:30 p.m. tilt between Syracuse and Wisconsin leads ESPN’s Challenge coverage on Nov. 29, while Michigan State and Duke will play the featured game that night at 9:30.
