Report: Four-star forward Damezi Anderson commits to IU

Indiana’s recruiting is on a roll.

Archie Miller has picked up his second commitment of the day — and third since Sunday evening — in South Bend Riley forward Damezi Anderson, Scout.com’s Brian Snow reports.

The 6-foot-6 Anderson is a four-star prospect considered to be the No. 91 overall recruit in the 2018 class, the No. 25 small forward nationally and the No. 3 player in the state of Indiana.

Michigan, Connecticut and DePaul had also offered Anderson, who received interest from Purdue as well.

Anderson joins four-star Ohio wing Jerome Hunter, who committed earlier Monday afternoon, as the second member of IU’s 2018 class. Four-star Minnesota forward Race Thompson, previously of the 2018 class, committed to Indiana on Sunday evening with plans to join the Hoosiers as a redshirt for the 2017 season.
