Expectations are high for Indiana senior linebacker Tegray Scales this fall.
After closing last season with second-team All-America honors, Scales is entering his senior season with similar accolades.
On Wednesday, Scales picked up second team All-America honors from Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports, adding to a hefty list of preseason honors. Scales has also received watch list nods from the Butkus, Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik Awards, as well as the Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list.
Scales, the 2016 Foster Farms Defensive Player of the Game, led the country
in2016 with 93 solo stops and 23.5 tackles for loss.
A payoff success reward is in order for one who decided to stay and hang in there for another year.
