Hartman questionable for Saturday’s game

MINNEAPOLIS — The injuries keep coming for Indiana.

Collin Hartman is questionable for Saturday’s game at Minnesota after recently experiencing shoulder soreness, IU coach Archie Miller said during his pregame radio appearance.

Hartman, a fifth-year senior, is coming off a career-high 18 points in Tuesday’s loss at Wisconsin. Hartman appeared to be sporting a brace on his right shoulder while he participated in pregame warmups.

“Not sure how much, if at all, he’ll be able to go today,” Miller said.

Hartman’s status is the latest bad news for Indiana, which will be without starting center De’Ron Davis indefinitely. Davis suffered what Miller called a “lower leg injury” during Thursday’s practice. The sophomore was wearing a boot on his right foot during Saturday’s pregame warmups.

Freshman Justin Smith, who is averaging 3.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, will make his second career start for the Hoosiers.
