  1. It sounds as if there is a battle at QB and come Fall we won’t know who will win out until early in the season. It is good hearing the TEs are blocking better and the offense moves the ball, at least the first unit. In a scrimmage you never know if the defense is tough enough to make it tough on the offense or if the offense is good enough to make a good defense look vulnerable. It sounds as if both units and the special teams had their moments as usually happens in a scrimmage.

    2018 should see the offense ahead of the defense early in the season but I expect the defense to come around as they gain experience. If all the units can rise up and play as well as they can, IU could surprise a few teams this year.
