Hoosiers ranked as high as No. 10 this week

For the second consecutive week, Indiana finds itself in the national top 10.

IU started Monday at No. 10 in D1Baseball.com’s top 25, keeping the same slot in that site’s top 25 as last week. The Hoosiers also kept the same spot in Baseball America’s top 25, sticking at No. 16 for the second straight week.

After claiming a series win over Purdue, IU’s only upward movement in the polls came from Perfect Game, which moved the Hoosiers ahead one spot to No. 11.

Collegiate Baseball dropped Indiana two spots to No. 15. The Hoosiers also fell two spots to No. 13 in the USA Today Coaches poll.

The Hoosiers also start the week at No. 20 in the latest RPI. They’ll host four games at Bart Kaufman Field this week, beginning with a rematch against Indiana State on Tuesday evening. Northwestern pays a visit for a three-game weekend series beginning on Friday evening.
