Big Ten releases annual preseason honor list

The Big Ten released its annual preseason honor list on Monday.

The 10-member list, which includes five representatives each from the East and West Divisions, features three returning All-Americans and nine former all-conference selections. The league revealed its honor list Monday in conjunction with the start of Big Ten Media Days in Chicago.

The East features two Ohio State standouts, defensive end Nick Bosa and running back J.K. Dobbins. Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley was the league’s only unanimous selection, while Michigan State quarterback Brian Lewerke and Michigan defensive end Rashan Gary round out the East’s honorees.

Wisconsin landed two players on the West side, including running back Jonathan Taylor and linebacker T.J. Edwards. Northwestern linebacker Paddy Fisher was also honored, as were Nebraska receiver Stanley Morgan Jr. and Iowa tight end Noah Fant.

Indiana coach Tom Allen, along with Hoosiers safety Jonathan Crawford, guard Wes Martin and receiver Luke Timian, will be featured during Tuesday’s Big Ten Media Days events in Chicago.
