Gameday central: UT-Arlington at Indiana

It’s a quick turnaround for Indiana.

Two days after taking their first loss of the season, the Hoosiers are back on the floor against Texas-Arlington tonight at Assembly Hall.

The hits keep coming for IU, which will be without junior De’Ron Davis for tonight’s game. After playing 23 minutes against the Razorbacks, Davis is dealing with soreness in the Achilles he injured last season. He’s wearing a boot on his left foot.

Davis’ absence means IU will be without five players tonight — Davis (Achilles), Devonte Green (thigh), Zach McRoberts (back), Race Thompson (concussion symptoms) and Jerome Hunter (lower body).

  1. Wow we are digging ourself a hole this year. I expected more in Archie’s 2nd year. To have one player single-handedly bring a team back. Yikes. At this point Duke will beat us by 40. A lot of stupid mistakes.

  2. This team got beat by Texas A&M Corpus Christie on Friday. We used to play in Maui Invitational. Now we struggle with these teams. Wow

    1. Damn, think for 1 steady second. Half the 2 deep of this team from 10 days ago is not available to play. The rest are flat wore down from all the individual minutes played in Ark. I’m not a bit surprised with the sluggishness tonight.

  3. Schedule uninspiring and you get uninspired play…. I think the whole of Assembly had 10 students making noise. The rest was a bunch of old fogies who couldn’t even stand up out of their seats to clap. They were as proper and prim as a holiday crowd going out to see the Nutcracker.

Big one this Friday too….Just add turkey gas. Should be a riot.
