Morgan expected to play Tuesday at Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Juwan Morgan is expected to play in Indiana’s Tuesday night game at Penn State, according to a team spokesman.

The senior forward suffered an unspecified leg injury late in Saturday’s win over Northwestern, missing the final 3:30 of action. Morgan wore a pad over his right shin during Tuesday evening’s warmups.

He posted his 13th career double-double against Northwestern, finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Morgan, who is 40 points shy of becoming the 52nd player in IU history to score 1,000 points or more in his career, is averaging 16.3 points and 8.8 rebounds through IU’s first eight games.

  1. Let’s hope Morgan is ready for game action, with Race Thompson still questionable, Hunter out, I U might have to find out how game ready Clifton Moore and Jake Forrester are as back ups as Davis’s minutes are still limited

    1. I don’t know the extent of De’ron’s achilles tear but mine completely ruptured playing basketball.

I am really impressed he can play at a high level within a year. I understand he is getting treatment I could never have access to but one year for a complete tear is not much time.
