0: Points from Evan Fitzner in four games this month. Fitzner, brought to IU as a graduate transfer with a reputation for long-range shooting, has made multiple 3-pointers in only two games this season — and not since Nov. 27 at Duke. Fitzner has made only one 3-pointer since Dec. 1.

3: Consecutive games that Indiana’s defense has allowed more than a point per possession — the longest such stretch of the season. Michigan scored 1.26 points per possession, Maryland scored 1.21 points per possession and Nebraska tallied 1.02 points per possession.

4: Of Indiana’s next five games come away from Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Per KenPom.com, IU is favored in two of those — at Northwestern (51 percent chance of victory) and at Rutgers (66 percent chance of victory).

Juwan Morgan eclipsed 1,000 career points in IU’s win over Butler at the Crossroads Classic on Dec. 15. Since then, he’s continued to climb the program leaderboard.

With, 1,111 career points, Morgan ranks 43rd all-time at Indiana. He’s five points shy of passing Troy Williams, seven points shy of passing Victor Oladipo and 10 points shy of passing Will Sheehey.

Armaan Franklin, 6-5, G, Indianapolis Cathedral, 2019: Scored 15 of his game-high 25 points in a 71-56 loss for the No. 4 Irish at unbeaten and second-ranked Carmel on Jan. 9.

Trayce Jackson-Davis, 6-9, F, Center Grove (Greenwood), 2019: Provided 23 points for the No. 8 Trojans in a 65-48 win over Franklin in the championship game of the Johnson County Tournament on Monday.

WOMEN

Shaila Beeler, 5-7, PG, Warren Central (Indianapolis), 2019: Contributed 13 points, nine assists and three steals in the No. 4 Warriors 70-39 win over Franklin Central on Tuesday. Averaging 10.6 points and 7.7 assists per game this year.

Mackenzie Holmes, 6-2, F, Gorham, Maine, 2019: Poured in a game-high 32 points in a 67-45 win over Lewiston last Saturday, then had 25 points in a 59-47 loss to Oxford Hills Tuesday.

Jorie Allen, 6-1, F, Bedford North Lawrence, 2019: Had just eight points and three rebounds in ninth-ranked Stars’ stunning 36-26 loss at Floyd Central on Monday but is averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season.

Grace Waggoner, 6-0, G, Vincennes Rivet, 2019: Scored 26 points in a 70-39 win over Tecumseh on Tuesday and is now averaging 21.7 points per game while leading the 20-0 Patriots to the No. 2 ranking in 1A.

Arielle Wisne, 6-5, C, Thornton, Colo., 2019: Delivered seven points and seven rebounds in a 74-28 win over Greeley West last Friday. Averaging 4.7 points and 5.6 rebounds to go with 1.2 blocks a game so far this season.

  1. Surely Crean has something to do with Fitzner’s poor year. We need to figure out a way to give Archie a pass on this lame recruit. Was dumbfounded when Archie put Fitzner in for defense at the end of first half against Nebraska. Then Fitzner failed to help stop a drive to the bucket after McRoberts lost his man at the top of the key. Head scratcher.

  3. Well, OK! I hope all those “Holzmann” hunkerers watched Maryland destroy Ohio State tonight! The team seemed to ignore his advice “play inside out” at the end of the game….after they tried it and it did not work for them. It will be very ¡interestante leer si nosotros puede victoriouso con essos!
