Indiana’s Juwan Morgan went undrafted on Thursday night, but by early Friday morning he had a new home, at least for the summer.
According to The Athletic’s Michael Scotto, the 2019 third team All-Big Ten selection signed a free-agent deal with the Utah Jazz. Bryan Kalbrosky of HoopsHype.com reported that the deal was for the summer league only.
Morgan, who averaged 15.5 points and 8.2 rebounds in his senior season as a Hoosier, will get his first chance to make an impression at the Salt Lake City Summer League July 1-3, followed by the Las Vegas Summer League, which begins July 5.
If he plays well, he could receive an invitation to training camp or sign with another team.
Good luck Juwan! All Hoosiers are rooting for you!
I’m betting Juwan finds a home in the League.
