  1. Didn’t know where to put this, but I thought here is as good as any.

Christmas is a time of reflection and being grateful for times shared with those who enhance our lives and challenge our feelings. I miss Tsao a lot on here…He was soooooooo, sooooooo much fun. Such a wonderful writer. Loyal to the Hoosiers like no other but never willing to apologize when he thought his alma mater was losing its way. Merry Christmas, Tsao.
We also lost Aruss a few years back. Aruss was another very loyal Scoop contributor and a fun soul. Smart as a whip and full of wit. He was always popping up to start off a thread conversation. Merry Christmas, Aruss.

Both are dearly missed. Both are remembered.

Pretty sure Seahawk Tom is still kicking, but I guess he thought Scoop was stealing too much of his time. Wherever you are…Merry Christmas, Tom.
You remain the best writer I think I’ve ever had the pleasure to know (then again, I’m just a hick from Chesterton, Indiana). Long live ‘The Island of Basketblog, EJ vs DJ, Verbal Art in Motion, Pierre’s bakery, cobble streets of Annecy, ‘The Great White Beluga’…and dangled toes dipping into the warm waters off a pier I still walk in hopes to find that damn whale.

    1. Merry Christmas to you and yours too, davis. You keep me on my toes not mistletoes….though my grammar is often akin to bird poop.

And though I said it earlier on a different thread…
Merry Christmas to all at Scoop and everyone at HT.

  2. Merry Christmas to all and I hope everyone has a Happy New Year. Thanks to all of you for giving me a place to come and talk IUFB.

    1. DITTO v DITTO. Absolute great time of the year and lots of +’s from IU success expanding the Season.
