IU women’s game moved into Bucket slot Saturday

In the wake of the Indiana and Purdue canceling the Old Oaken Bucket football game on Saturday afternoon, there has been another change in the IU sports schedule.

The No. 15 Indiana women’s basketball announced on Thursday that it was moving its game against Butler to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. It will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

The game was initially moved to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, the same time the football game was originally scheduled to kick off at Memorial Stadium, then later moved to 5:30 p.m.

The Hoosiers and Bulldogs were previously scheduled to play at 5 p.m. Sunday. Indiana (2-1) has not played since last Sunday’s loss at then-No. 11 Kentucky, while Butler (0-3) is coming off a 93-54 loss at Michigan on Wednesday night.
